Dillon Marsh | Fever Dream

Dillon Marsh | Fever Dream

I began making these images in 2019, driven by a vague but growing sense of unease. Just a few months later, the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a halt.

While stuck at home during lockdown, I started exploring my photographic archive, digging up images at the periphery of previous expeditions and series. I began reimagining them as vivid dreamscapes at once beautiful and unsettling.

While the series was not made in direct response to the pandemic, the uncertainty and tension of that time has deepened my connection to these imagined scenes and shaped how I see them now.
