Refund policy

At Ultraviolet Gallery, we want you to feel confident and inspired by every artwork you purchase. Collecting art is both a personal experience and a meaningful investment, and we are committed to providing exceptional service before, during, and after your purchase.

We encourage you to take your time when selecting an artwork. If you have any questions about an artwork's condition, framing, edition, or presentation, our team will be delighted to assist you before you complete your purchase.

Change of Mind
As the artworks we sell are original works, limited editions, or carefully curated pieces, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once an artwork has been collected or delivered simply because you have changed your mind.

We appreciate your understanding, as each artwork is unique and cannot always be resold under the same circumstances.

If There Is a Problem
We take great care to ensure that every artwork is carefully inspected before it leaves the gallery.

If you believe your artwork has a manufacturing, printing, framing, or material defect that was not apparent at the time of purchase, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We will carefully assess the issue and work with you to determine the most appropriate solution.

Where a genuine defect is confirmed, we will work with you to resolve the matter fairly. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repairing, replacing, exchanging, or refunding the artwork in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at dc@ultraviolet.art.

What Is Not Covered
This policy does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Accidental damage after collection or delivery.

  • Incorrect handling, installation, storage, or transportation.

  • Exposure to excessive sunlight, moisture, humidity, or other environmental conditions.

  • Normal ageing or wear that occurs over time.

Custom commissions, bespoke framing, and specially commissioned or ordered artworks are considered final sales and cannot be returned or refunded unless they are found to have a genuine defect.

Proof of Purchase
Please retain your proof of purchase, as it may be required should you need to contact us regarding your artwork.
