The image occupies an in-between state: on one level, it evokes the naïve ease of a tourist snapshot, yet simultaneously breaks with linear time. The shoreline becomes a site where epochs converge, geographies intertwine, and traces of power accumulate—a place that gestures toward a wider cosmological continuum. My tactile engagement with the medium transforms the photographic surface into a palimpsest of time and memory, layering past and present in a continuous, mutable dialogue.
